Get ready to ride – The Wolfe of Westerham is back for 2025, and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever! Mark your calendars for Sunday 7th September, and join us for a legendary day in the saddle, set against the stunning backdrop of Kent and Surrey’s most beautiful back roads and lanes.

NEW HQ & NEW ROUTES for 2025:
We’re excited to announce a brand new event HQ – the Titsey Hill Brewery & Taproom. This unique venue will serve as the perfect basecamp for your ride and post-ride celebrations.
Two Route Options to Challenge Every Rider:
– Long Route – Approx. 105km with 1570m of climbing
– Short Route – Approx. 65km with 925m of climbing
Both routes are packed with scenic views, punchy climbs, and quiet lanes – perfect for a late summer ride. And for those who love a challenge, you’ll have the opportunity to take on the iconic Yorks Hill, one of the most notorious climbs in the area!

– A vibrant post-ride atmosphere back at Titsey Hill Brewery & Taproom

Please note: The sportive is self-guided and routes will not be signposted. All riders will need to download the GPX file, which will be made available one week prior to the event. Make sure your device is charged and ready, and stick with your group to enjoy the ride safely and smoothly.

Angel of the Ashdown

Everyone knows Hell of the Ashdown kicks off the cycling season – now it’s time to finish in style with its celestial sibling: Angel of the Ashdown!
Brought to you by Flamme Rouge Events, this epic end-of-season sportive takes on the same legendary route as the Hell of the Ashdown, offering a final test of fitness, grit, and glory before the winter months roll in.

Why Ride the Angel?
As the leaves begin to turn and the summer season fades, this is your chance to go out with a bang. The Angel is a ride for real cyclists: challenging, rewarding, and utterly unforgettable.
Tackle some of Kent and Surrey’s most iconic climbs and hidden lanes on a route that weaves through stunning countryside and tests every sinew of your legs. Are you ready to take on Kidds Hill, better known as The Wall? What about Toys Hill, Col de Groombridge, Cowden, or Bayley’s Hill? This is a ride that demands your best—and gives back even more.

Once you've tamed the Angel, roll back into the welcoming arms of the Velo Barn, where we’ll be firing up the BBQ and pouring cold beers just for you.
